BASS Season Closed R.O.I

Just a reminder that the Bass Closed Season in the ROI is from the 15th of May to the 15th of June. This is only in the ROI , we would like to see this on both sides of the border

The MLS ( minimum land size ) for Bass is 40 cm, although we would like that raised to 45cm so that the fish has spawned at least once

Bass (Conservation of Stocks) Regulations, 2006

As an angler, you can kill, or have in your possession, no more than two bass in any 24 hour period. Any bass in your possession must not be less than 40cm in length from snout to tail and fishing for Bass is prohibited from the 15th May to 15th June each year.
