BAI 1st meet of the year @ Blue Circle, Larne
The first BAI meet of the year @ the Blue Circle club, Larne, is only round the corner.May 28th/29th sees BAI return for another species hunt in the glorious surroundings of Larne. This meet has a bit of everything – great facilities, great location and great craic all-round. A BBQ on the Friday night followed by a meal on the Saturday night, plenty of cheap beer and after last years escapades, God only knows what the entertainment will bring this year  . Thats before we even consider the fishing – Species are abundant in this location with the usual suspects available, but also a chance of a special fish or two, with a skate or a black mouth dogfish among the notable fish available from this location.
As per usual there will be a BAI competition at this meet, ran in the usual relaxed BAI manner. This meet will also fall under the new BAI Master Angler format. More info re this meet here http://www.boat-angling-ireland.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=6144 and here http://www.boat-angling-ireland.com/?page_id=56
