Fish of the month: April 2012
Congrats to Sean on winning Fish of the Month for April, with his fine shore caught bass. The bombarda float and imitation sandeel were Sean’s weapons of choice and proved to be an excellent option, rewarding him with a new personal best in the processÂ
Â
Well done Sean, a fine fish any day of the week and a fine self take photo to accompany it tooÂ

Who needs a boat……
Castlemaine was the venue, the target was bass and the angler a somewhat familiar face to most of us. The bombarda float method , with a rigged sandeel imitation did the job nicely, with this fine bass falling to Sean’s tactics. Fair play to him for returning the fish to fight another day Â
